Cactus Petes Resort & Horseshu Hotel

The location was convenient, which was the main positive for us. It worked well as a stopping point and made it easy to access what we needed in Jackpot.

Although the location was convenient, the Horseshu portion of Cactus Pete’s felt very rundown and poorly maintained. Walking back after dark felt a little sketchy because the area was not well lit. The exterior looked like it had not been painted or refreshed in decades, with flickering outdoor lights, flickering Coke machines, dirt dauber nests, birds, damaged window screens, and dirt/debris around the property. The elevator also felt very questionable, as if it had only been maintained enough to keep running. The room itself was clean enough to stay in, but only decent at best. When we first walked in, there was an off-putting smell. The bathroom exhaust fan looked like it had years of dust built up on it. The bed was very saggy, the toilet was unusually low and small, and the bathtub was also very small. Overall, the room appeared to have been vacuumed and possibly wiped down, but the property as a whole needs serious maintenance, updating, and attention to cleanliness.

Did not like that we were put across the street and had to carry our large luggage up the stairs! Not easy for two older senior citizens! Got absolutely o service at the bar! Ended up going g to a different casino to get a drink! Will never stay again!

The night attendant would not let my wife and kids che kids after a 11 hr drive from me daughter highschool graduation in SoCal. He said cause her name was not in the reservation even though she had just stayed there two days go driving from Spokane. It was already paid for. He wanted her to call me at 12 am. I work very early in the morning. This was very unprofessional.

Property was fine but Booking App disappointed. Price changed 4 times in 3 hrs. $92 to $79 to $97 to $63 when I arrived. Pick a price if I like it I’ll pay but don’t play with the $$$
