Mantra Terrace Brisbane

Very unimpressed with our stay. We called through to reception to extend our stay by a day, and they told us it had been actioned, however the next morning they had no knowledge of it. They charged my partner for the extra night then when I went to update the room key for the extra night (can't believe that can't be done remotely) they charged me a second time. There is no parking, unless you pay $30 a night to a third party. They also couldn't extend our parking for an extra night. Overall the staff were incompetent and I'll never stay here again.

Downstairs is OK with bar and food. Room levels are very dated and dark, especially common areas. Overall for the price there are better options in the area.

All social media sites advertise a restaurant including the in room online compendium but this has not been operating since covid. We chose to stay here with the on site restaurant a draw card. Surely with todays technology the sites should be updated to be a true reflection of the services available. The deluxe room was also very small for two with limited room to relax given we were there for 5 days.

Hi Mantra team, I travel for work regularly and for the price, this has been one of the worst $210 dollar stays I have had in Australia. While I don't mind small rooms, this room was very small and had no small working desk. Not suitable for travelling workers. And there was no hot water, in tap, or in shower. While I have stayed at cheaper and less nice places, I have never stayed at a over $200 per night place where it had no hot water, and no working desk. Room 507 should be a closet.

The location of the hotel was very convenient. It’s at a walking distance to the bus stops, train stations and Queen Street Mall. We had booked 2 rooms, 1 room with king bed and the other with two single beds. The one with the single beds was smaller in size and was smelly, as if the carpet was not cleaned for a long time.

Hotel is conveniently located in the city. You can walk to few dining options and it has a bar downstairs if you need a drink or you could walk from there to the nearest bottleshop. Located in a quiet and safe area. Inside the hotel as well as the room are clean and modern. Beds and pillows are comfy. Bathroom and shower are good too. Power and usb sockets near the bed are a plus! Staff is very accommodating too and helpful. But our hotel room though is not what we expected. It's small and cramped. Have to put the extra chair outside the balcony to get more space in the cramped room. Limited space to open ur luggage. Bed frame has an extended frame which can hit your leg if you're not aware of it. Our legs were hit by that a few times.... Not recommended if the room is already small as it is. TV remote is not working properly. You push a button and it moves two steps ahead so you have to get right pressure on the button to make it move to wherever you want it to go.
