Savannah House Wine Country Inn & Cottages

Lovely decorated little room with view on Seneca lake. It was October, but we still could sit outside on the little patio and enjoy the sun in the morning.

We could hear the traffic on the road, especially early in the morning.

It was small, cozy with a great view of the lake. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

Great location with many surroundings wineries to hop around for tastings. Ideal base location within driving distance to hike at Watkins Glen State Park, many waterfalls around Seneca Lakes and day trips to Penn Yan and Keuka Lakes.

Beautiful views. Quiet. Nice patio to sit out on. Clean bathroom and bed. Working refrigerator and microwave.

The only thing was the water didn’t taste good and smelled a little.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The shower was a bit difficult to manage with the water splashing out uncontrollably after pooling on the shower seat. Also, it would be good to have a slip proof mat on the shower floor being that the floor of the shower was very slippery. Otherwise, Jeff was very helpful and had many suggestions for places to see.
