Blue Bay Resort Hotel

This resort offers nice rooms with effective air-conditioning, and a good all-inclusive package. The food is nicely prepared and there's quite a bit of variety. The setting is attractive and quiet, and the beach is close. The multi-lingual staff are pleasant and helpful. Evening entertainment is reasonable. There is limited car parking at the resort, but if the car park is full you can park in the road. Heraklion and Knossos are 30-40 minutes' drive away. The gym can get a bit warm, as they are frugal with the air-con, but it is otherwise not bad at all. This is a very good resort with no major flaws. You can eat well, relax and explore without any stress. Obviously, nothing is perfect, and there are few areas in which Blue Bay could improve- bearing in mind the very high quality of most of its offering, and the fact that there are more expensive options. Firstly, the wi-fi is only in the lobby, and can get slow at times. Secondly, some of the rooms are in buildings that leave you needing to climb a number of steep stairs to get to the main complex. Thirdly, one or two of the sports facilities need improvement: the tennis court is a rough tarmac court with a basketball hoop on the baseline at each end (so you can't hit serves or overheads from the middle!), and the miniature golf has about 5 holes, some of which are covered in tree debris. Finally, there are few English language TV channels-- but then you don't go there to watch TV!

Hôtel accueillant, le personnel est charmant et serviable mais non francophone. La restauration est correcte mais sans aucun charme. C'est la même chose pour l'environnement extérieure et les piscines. Pour les plages à proximité, c'est les uns sur les autres avec transat obligatoire (10€). Bref pour nous, l'expérience ne sera pas renouvelé.

Hôtel confortable personnel sérieux, disponible, serviable et accueillant. Propreté sur le ensemble du complexe séjour très agréable nous reviendrons certainement dans cet hôtel. Véhicule indispensable

Von Putzfrau bis der Geschäftsführer alle waren soooo nett und bereit zu zuhören auf unsere Wünsche oder Fragen unsere lob oder Kritik. Das gab's nirgendwo auf der anbere hotel bis jetzt wo wir waren.Essen Von feinstem, und mit sehr große Auswahl von unterschiedlichen Ländern.du hast Meerblick sogar auch beim Essen das sagt Alles.ich werde noch mal dahin auf jeden Fall.und ich werde an meine Freunde weiter empfehlen auf jeden Fall.

We returned almost a week ago after having a fantastic holiday at this hotel. The staff are very welcoming, hotel is kept clean, wide range of food available, always managed to get a sunbed, nice walk to three beaches. Various evening entertainment, the kids enjoyed some of the daytime activities. All in all we would love to return to this hotel!

Jättefint hotell där det mesta är toppen. Vi hade ett familjerum i huvudbyggnaden o det var jättefint. Frukosten var kanon. Luncherna sisådär. Ungarna hittade inte så mycket att äta så dem gick ner till poolbaren o åt pizza. Middagarna var toppen. Showerna som dem hade varje kväll var toppen o ungarna var helnjöda. Det negativa var att det var en lång backe ner till havet o det var ganska halt i vattnet då det var stora stenblock i hela området. Att dem inte hade några drinkar. Borde finnas kanske några stycken att välja på. Tråkigt att dem inte spelar grekisk musik då det är det man vill höra när man är där o inte popmusik som man lyssnar på resten av året. Ganska långt ifrån dem fina stränderna ifall man vill se dem. Tog 3 timmar till Elafonissi o lina lång tid till Balos.

Godt hotel, som ligger i stille og roligt område. Søde og rare personale. Mange trapper :(

Dejligt hotel. Vores værelse var fantastisk og med ekstra stor altan med skøn udsigt. Gode senge og velfungerende ventilation. Vi var to voksne med tre børn, og der var god plads til alle. Maden var god, men støjniveauet i restauranten var til tider højt pga. aukustikken i rummet. Nærmeste strand (små sten, ikke sand) var lille men dejlig, og som taget ud af en græsk film. Vandet var meget klart og med mange små fisk, og børnene elskede at snorkle der. Alt i alt et sted vi gerne besøger igen.

Alles ist gut gepflegt - Putzfeen und Hausmeister wuseln den ganzen Tag herum. Das Personal ist freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Das Essen ist gut, Buffet zu jeder Mahlzeit sehr umfangreich - jeder Gaumen findet etwas passendes.
