"Great location! Oven and coffee machine for guest at lobby"

9.0

Good location. Near to Plaza de España! They have a oven and coffee machine at lobby for guest use.

The wifi was weak and not connecting well at level 5. Other than this, everything was well and comfortable.

"Pleasant stay in what is really a 3-star hotel"

8.0

Beautiful reception area Staff were very accommodating with requests. I had a room booked with my sister for 4 nights for a wedding, but my sister’s partner was flying out the day after the wedding and we had a separate booking each directly following it. Staff made sure the new room was cleaned and ready for me to move into straight away in the morning so I didn’t need to leave the room with my case and wait to check back in later on. Restaurant area is nice with some decent pizzas and tapas dishes and the staff there were all friendly. It’s about 20 min walk to the cathedral but is still fairly central being near Maria Luisa Park and Place de Espana.

Others have alluded to it but it’s on here as a 4-star hotel and it just wasn’t that for me. It’s a good 3-star hotel and I’ve scored the sections independent of how it’s rated on Booking.com That said - there were no coffee/tea facilities in the rooms but I think in the more expensive rooms there are. That’s ok, I knew that going in, but they advertise a coffee station where you can get free coffee and tea. But it’s switched off when the cafe or restaurant is open and I feel if you’re a guest you should probably be able to use it at all times given the website advertises that they know the value of a coffee at the end of a long journey (paraphrasing but it’s along those lines) and advertising coffee station as an option for guests. Breakfast buffet is also wildly expensive for what you get, I was shocked. You’re better off going out for lunch. I was taken aback when we got the receipt as the price was different to what others on here had advised so maybe it had changed. We went the first morning because it was convenient given we had the first day of a 4-day wedding to go to, but every other day we went out for breakfast.

"PÉSIMO"

1.0

Very good location and clean hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Buffet b'fast was a bit expensive but there was a very good choice of a la carte b'fast menu.
