"Great stay in Okayama"

We booked this hotel for a one night stay and we were pleasantly surprised. We didn't think much about it as we just wanted a place to sleep at and seeing that the price was good, we just went for it, not expecting much. +The hotel is located in a pretty quiet area and it's about 8 minutes away from the train station, so you've got easy access to it. + The staff was very kind and helpful. Their English was good, check in was fast and they assisted us with getting our luggage forwarded to the next hotel + The room was spacious enough to not feel cramped and it had all the amenities that you would need. It was very clean, so no issues there. + The beds here were probably the most comfortable that we've had during our 3 week stay here

The hotel and the room looked good overall, however, it does show its age and if you pay close attention, you can tell it's dated. You'll see the occasional stain here and there or something that's not in proper condition. In our case, the flushing lever for the toilet was almost broken and loose, but it still did the job. It's not a major complaint though. We weren't bothered by this, especially for a short stay. Considering how much it costs, I think it offers incredible value and would recommend it to anybody who wants to stay in Okayama

Excellent location, good breakfast - and super helpful staff, really went the extra mile sending a shirt on to me that I left in my room. Also liked being able to use bikes for a morning.
