Candlewood Suites San Antonio Downtown by IHG

I really liked the room with the big refrigerator.

We were less than 10 minutes from the Riverwalk. The one bedroom king suite was big and spacious. I did see some nicks and scrapes on the floor and wall, but this hotel had everything that we needed for our trip. There were even some cleaning supplies under the sink, and the refrigerator had its own ice maker. There was also a small designated area for the dogs to do their business. My key card worked every time I used it, and the staff was very friendly!

The sofa bed was super uncomfortable! The mattress was uneven, and you can feel the bars under it. The elevator was broken for the whole stay, but the staff made us aware of this before we arrived and were willing to make accommodations if we needed them. The dog area had a lot of ants. I understand it's outside, but a nonharmful pesticide would be helpful. My mom smelled an odor in the room. I didn't smell anything in the room, but I did smell an odor in the stairway area.
