Staybridge Suites Corpus Christi by IHG

Service was amazing from staff and morning breakfast staff. Only flaws we had, was key to room would have to be reset every time to get in, room was slightly dirty and check in and out times where completely different online than in person. Other than that was a good experience.

MOLD growing EVERYWHERE!!! The first room had mold growing all over the bathroom and was all over the ceiling. When I complained to the front desk they changed our room, however, there was still mold and the AC unit leaked all over the floor.

Was very nice and quite enjoyed the breakfast!!!

There was a glitch (Crowdstrike event maybe) wherein the front desk would not release me a ready room even though I'd paid for it already through Expedia. The front guy demanded that I pay the $25 incidentals fee before he'd release the room to me. I even offered to put down the cash against the fee, but he would not budge. The woman ahead of me was given two rooms and was under the same credit card issue. Makes me wonder what kind of guy this front desk guy is as I am a different paint scheme than the woman he allowed in. Hate to pull that card, but, if you've been aggrieved before, you know exactly the way it feels. The room smelled musty/smoky, the whole place looked neglected, and the advertising said, "no pool". The pool was covered by a tarp and there was construction materials and big storage containers in the pool area like someone who didn't care about appearances ran this place. I'd spend your money elsewhere. I know places are limited in Corpus Christi, but, this place was a dump...and it takes quite a bit for me to be this down on something.

The stay was okay- the room was fine- could’ve been cooler, but overall good. The front check in guy Joe was not very friendly. The pool/hot tub was shut down and that is one of the reasons we picked the hotel. They didn’t offer any type of solution. There was another hotel across from us… maybe they could’ve partnered with them. The toilet handle was broken & it kept running, the tub stopper kept plugging up on its own while showering. The food was pretty good. The bed was comfy.

Everyone was pleasant and friendly. Despite remodeling on the top floor, we found it quite quiet.

Worst hotel. Roaches in my shower. Floors are dirty, room and couches and beds are filthy. I would never stay here again. Breakfast was horrible and plates were dirty
