Riverdale Inn

Adorable bed and breakfast. Highly recommend! Beds are incredibly comfortable! Wish I could’ve stayed longer!

I was on a multi-day road trip and stopped in Jacksonville for a concert at the Florida Theatre; the Riverdale Inn was an easy 5 minutes or so drive to the theatre. The inn itself was excellent. Easy to find, easy check-in, friendly staff. It's an older, historic building (which I love) in a fairly quiet neighborhood. Comfortable bed, soothing shower. Quiet. I'm not a breakfast guy, so I can't comment there. This is a nice place that I would stay at again.

The Inn is located in a lovely neighborhood on the water with good restaurants and shopping in walking distance. Convenient off interstate. Our room was quiet, clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was prepared to order with lots of menu choices and was delicious. Will for sure stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay. Any time we are in Jacksonville, we will definitely go back! The bed was extremely comfortable - like sleeping in a cloud. The breakfast was very good and filling. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Highly recommended!

Riverdale Inn was just as described. Beautiful grounds and beautiful Inn. The couple were extremely helpful. While we were there, we walked around and spotted Cinco Tacos. The food was delicious. Oh, and the breakfast offered at the Inn was absolutely scrumptious! We will definitely be staying there again.

Beautiful historic home within walking distance to the park and several good restaurants. Comfortable and clean room. The breakfaat was made to order to each morning served with French press coffee or juice. The service was great: everyone was very friendly and available to assist when needed.

Absolutely the worst bed we have ever TRIED to sleep on. We left in the middle of the night. The room was clean, but the BED WAS HORRIBLE! Hard as a slab of concrete!!!!

The Riverdale Inn is beautifully restored and there are some lovely rooms in the main house. We had one night in a pretty, spacious light room at the top of the house. Unfortunately our second and third nights were in “Lancaster, a premium double room” in a converted garage in a second building in the car park. It was dark and depressing (the only lights being two bedside lights, although the newly renovated bathroom was well lit). The furniture was well worn and the whole ambience was dreary and incredibly disappointing. The only outside light came through a small window overlooking a neighbouring property with people walking through and a window in the door. This was an expensive mistake, we would never have booked it if we had known what it was like.

Cute BnB in nice setting near the river. The shower came on by itself at night because "the people in the room upstairs were taking a shower". The gurgling drain was noisy and disruptive. Breakfast: ham and cheese omelet was perfect; however, the pancakes were burnt (I mean black).

Staff was so friendly, even upgraded our room! Would stay there again.
