La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Livingston

Bed was very comfortable, room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The property was well maintained and very clean. Didn’t visit the pool area the weather was cold but it looked nice.

The room was clean and bed was comfortable, but I was very disappointed with the state of disrepair in the hotel. The elevator was broken, so only bottom floor rooms were available. The stopper in the bathtub was rusted and broken and there were rust stains on the bathtub, itself. The cold water in the bathtub did not work, so only very hot water came out, making it impossible to take a bath or shower. Toilet would not flush properly. Breakfast was plentiful. I wouldn't stay there again until they fix all things broken.

Our first room had black mold growing on the air conditioner vents, and white mold growing on the wood cabinet surrounding the refrigerator. Also, the shower curtain was missing.They put us in another room that was better, but still lacking for the price charged. A hole in the top sheet, bath sink that was 8 inches taller than normal, loose toilet seat, and super-ugly caulk around the shower. Ice machine was not working on 2nd or 3rd floor.

Skip this place.. Missed opportunity all around Need work, no care of property.. probably a franchise not sure by definitely not the Wyndham experience.. Assigned a 3rd floor room upon arrival we asked the direction to the elevator and was directed to the stairs. Front desk staff/owner daughter told us the elevator had been down over 3 weeks. Poor communication, this should have been mentioned on the website to give patronage an option to book or find an alternative lodging.. Nevertheless, after we advised we could not do the stairs due to health reasons we were offered a first floor room. The room was definitely not as the picture showed and needed much cleaning and updating.. Thank goodness I travel with cleaning supplies in my travel bag always.... When we got to our room we could hear people talking and music playing not sure where it was coming from so we investgated when we went to our car to obtain our luggage. Our room was at the end of the hallway that leads to come stairs People had camped out on the stairs and under the stairs with a small mattress smoking, drinking and playing there music.. We could tell this was not a one oft but the norm as they were to comfortable in what they were doing. After getting to our room we notice the deadbolt did not lock so we pushed the cabinet against the door. Morning came and we were out of there. Skip this place especially if you have kids this is no place for your family. Missed opportunity and missed the mark completely.. We have have stayed at a lot of small town hotels but this will one hotel will be a thumbs down for me..

Worst hotel ever. The place reeks. Our room smelled of mold/mildew. Found black mold in the bathroom. It was so bad it made me gag!!! Don't waste your money!!!! There are better hotels in the area that you should try out instead. It would be better to sleep in your car than to walk through those doors.

Very poor service and management who could not care less when issues are reported and staff assurances are given that they will respond. Housekeeping was nonexistent, toaster failed to function during entire stay, waffle machine repeatedly jammed and the coffee was gone well before the breakfast service ( 6 to 9am) period was complete.

Big disappointment. Never stayed with a Wyndham property before. When I pulled up, very obvious the grass/yard had not been mowed in a while, but there had been a lot of rain. Entering I was hit by this extremely strong garlicky smell that nearly chocked me. It was on premises foreign owners cooking lunch. Decided that if my room smelled like that I was leaving. Lady behind desk was not friendly--didn't greet me or look up from her work to acknowledge me. Room had no hair dryer but i didn't know until I got out of shower! UGH. Pillows were like rocks--past their prime and sheets could use replacing but towels were new and fluffy. Breakfast was meh--and coffee was warm--not hot, plus foreign news was blaring at breakfast time. We did use pool and it was clean. Overall all this was a TERRIBLE VALUE. I would have been just a well off staying at the less expensive place across the street but I wanted something nicer for my family. Oh--secure door to outside at end of hall was broken. She said it didn't lock and to just pull real hard. Secure door to pool wouldn't open with my key until it was worked on. This place had been nice in the past. I use stairs and stairs area needed sweeping. Elevator make a funny noise. It was clean, but it was not worth the over $130+ I paid.

Bugs in the shower, stained towels, roaches, powdery substance found on a Bible, some meth in the drawers, this place is disgusting! No working ice machines on the first two floors. All around dirty, I wouldn't recommend eating breakfast here let alone staying here. It was a buisness trip and needed sleep but barely got an hour and was out of there.
