Gorgeous stay, beautifully designed hotel in a stunning location in the National park. Dinner each night was delicious local food, and the menu fully changed every night. Great recommendations on walks. Loved the sauna built into the rockface.

The breakfast was different but ample, no cooked food but interesting. The evening meal was what, in my opinion, let the hotel down. The meals themselves were interesting but took nouvelle cuisine to a whole new level ! the portions were tiny and, at 35 Euros per head, outrageous ! The overall atmosphere was exceptionally welcoming but small things let it down. There was a kettle and fridge BUT both had to be shared....unnecessary and unwelcome if you had to get dressed for either. Probably needs to advertised to the more active and younger traveller but nevertheless, a marvellous get away from it all location helped by a very friendly staff

As above, the dinner let the whole place down considerably especially the price. I have some considerable experience at costings and the cost rarely exceeded 10% of the price.

Bajo El Cejo is absolutely fantastic. We were on a Spanish road trip and wanted to experience the real Spain away from the big cities and tourists and El Berro was perfect. Our accommodation was beautiful, the restaurant food was incredible both at the hotel and in the village. The staff were fantastic - lovely people.

The access to the hotel’s car park was very difficult for us to use.

It was a beautiful location with a local authentic feel. We only stayed for 1 night on our way to Valencia and wanted to stay in a rural village before the big city.

The untrodden path leads to amazing places, but be prepared for the road up to the hotel.

The staff were outstanding - very friendly and effective. The breakfast was excellent, and we ate in the restaurant both evenings as little else was available locally. We found the taster menus offered were some of the best food we have enjoyed in Spain.

The wifi signal was quite weak in our room, probably because of the heavy stone walls. More signal points would have helped.
