Aloft by Marriott San Antonio Airport

Airport shuttle was very convenient..

Room was tidy, but smaller than expected. TV also seemed a little undersized for the wall it was featured on. One of the elevators was broken and the other operated very slowly. Stairs were not as easily accessible and they sent you outside. Would have just used stairs if there were some near the elevator.

This is a great property, older but well maintained, very clean and comfortable. The staff is always wonderful. I have stayed 6-8 nights in the past 6 months.

The parking lot is shared with a restaurant and space is limited in the front. I typically am Traveling for business alone and if I have to check in at night parking in back makes me nervous. However they do have a security guard and he is often stationed outside after dark.

It was conveniently located.

When we checked in our tv didn’t work and the friendly guy at front desk let us know someone would fix it or move us in the morning. When we came back from our event at 11am they hadn’t been by to provide room service or fix the tv. I talked to the lady up front and she was very rude and kept telling us someone was on their way. Nobody ever came till about 8pm they brought towels and finally we talked to a different lady at front desk who was very nice and she sent a guy to fix our tv, he wasn’t able to so he moved us to a different room. Neither of the rooms had hot water, it was luke warm at best. The new room didn’t have body wash as the dispenser was empty. And the breakfast was so gross and quite expensive for what it was. I really would not recommend this hotel. So many issues and expensive for the kind of service we received.

El desayuno muy pobre. Casi todo viene en bolsitas y botecitos de comida envasada. La manija de la regadera estaba floja. El pickup al aeropuerto tardó mucho en llegar.

Bed and pillow was comfortable and staff was very nice.

Pool had no water. Rugs were stained and the bldg needs some tlc. Needs lots of repairs.
