The pool could have been warmer

I booked a room directly with this hotel in September 2025, five months ahead of my planned stay in January 2026. We were travelling for an event with other families. About a week before the event, other families start getting calls saying the hotel is overbooked and they are being moved to the Hampton Inn nearby. We hear nothing until 4 days before we are supposed to arrive and then get an email saying that we have been moved to the Quality Inn, which it turns out is in Prescott. No information on what type of room they booked, what it costs or anything else pertinent to allow us to make a decision on what to do. Also no explanation as to why a reservation made 5 months earlier is bumped in favour of other bookings. Based on our experience and that of the other families, I can say that this hotel engages in completely unacceptable business practices. I would strongly suggest avoiding it altogether.

Orange juice was not overly diluted.

AC in the room was not working properly. Maintenance never showed up. TV in sitting area did not have cable. TV instructions were incorrect. Only one ice machine in the entire building. No one answered the phone at the front desk. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. No light in the fridge/coffee area of the room. We were told an incorrect time for breakfast. The floor of the tub was slimy and slippery. Excessive noise from the highway. At breakfast, the juice dispenser was difficult to work; the pancake machine was not operating properly. Many of these issues were brought up to the front desk attendant but nothing was resolved. All we were given was excuses.
