The guy who checked us in was extremely friendly.

There were no vending machines and the ice machine was on the bottom floor but that wasn't a big deal in the grand scheme

Friendly staff; Raymond at reception was very welcoming; room was spacious and clean. No heavy perfumed smell as I am frequently finding in other hotels. Breakfast was basic fare, as expected. Great location; groceries and dining within walking distance.
