"Excellent"

The staff was excellent!! Friendly and attentive. Grounds immaculate. Great breakfast every morning. Room maid outstanding. Pool and bar available. A very nice hotel at opposite end of town where Malecon located. However we enjoyed walking to town several times a day!! Lots of restaurants and shops all along the way We loved our room but we were located in the back of hotel near a busy street with barking dogs and a donkey but still enjoyed

"The hotel is"

The grounds were lovely. The pool area is clean, the plants are well taken care of and in bloom. The atmosphere is quiet.

I did not like that the pet fee was not disclosed when I booked. Most hotels will say pet friendly with a fee of xxxx. This simply said pet friendly. Usually that means no pet fees.

Our room was clean but refrigerator was noisy, needed a new thermostat so kept cycling on & off. No door on bathroom.

Pool was cold. We were told they heated nightly. Breakfast was so so. Had to have our keys redone 4 times.
