Motel 6-Enfield, CT - Hartford

Location: not very far away from Six Flags New England.

Beds were inside a plastic covering which crinkled with movement. Room was very small for 2 queen beds. There were 3 of us and between us and our luggage, we were falling over each other and our luggage. Floor in the bathroom was not swept well. The people above us were having a dance party one night, literally. The lighting was terrible. There was 1 overhead light near the door, and 2 lights above the nightstand that gave very harsh lighting.

Close proximity to restaurants and stores. Laundry worked great.

We were in a recently remodeled room and the bathroom door wasn’t installed properly. My son got stuck in the bathroom in the middle of the night and I had to ask the desk clerk to get him out. It took 10 minutes of him body slamming the door before he was released. I had booked 2 double beds through booking.com but when I checked in I was told all of those rooms were being remodeled and all they had were 2 single beds or 1 king. We’re a family of 3. I had to go to the store and buy an air mattress. They wouldn’t give me an extra blanket for the third person, so I had to buy a blanket as well. When I asked for a 3rd towel I was told no—and the only way I could get new towels was if I brought the used ones back to the front desk. We were there 4 nights and never had any maid service at all.

I love the privacy i had beds was comfy
