I came to the hotel for a birthday meal with family The service was very slow The fish and chips I had was absolutely awlful it was all batter and hardly any fish inside grossly over cooked the peas were bland and runny. I told the waitress but didn’t get a response I also sent a email to the hotel but have recieved no reply. For the price I paid £19.95 it was very disappointing Wouldn’t recommend

The breakfast was a rip off, £17 for a very small cooked breakfast, not value for money. Also, the beer was very expensive, 0ver £7 a pint. The toilet in my room kept running with water, the valve inside is sticking and I had problems getting the flow of water to stop running.

Breakfast was excellent, staff were friendly,location was great.

The window wouldn’t open in our room, and there was no ventilation in the bathroom.The room consequently smelt quite stale, and a bit ‘boozy’. There was only 1 towel provided, though we did ring for another one, and only 1 bottle of water.There was no lift, and the receptionist didn’t offer to get someone to help with our luggage up 2 flights of stairs, and being a bit older with bad knees this wasn’t appreciated. Generally there was a lack of care and consideration.
