"GREAT STAFF, clean rooms, comfy beds, safe location, free parking"

GREAT STAFF - very friendly and helpful! Location is good - easy to get to, quiet, and no homeless people around this part of Barstow. The room was clean, and the bed was comfy. They have Dove toiletries, which is a very nice touch. Also there is a keurig machine in the room for morning coffee. Breakfast was OK - not as good as at the newer La Quinta locations, albeit Holiday Inn did have more options for fruits on waffles and they did have yogurt. Breakfast verdict - the sweet options of waffles, cereal, yogurt, and fruits options are good; but the savory options are a bit disappointing - English muffins, scrambled eggs, and breakfast sausage patties. And they were out of eggs, so only the English muffins and sausage patties were left.

Breakfast hours are from 6AM-9AM. Breakfast should be until 10AM. Eggs were done by 8:45 and not replenished.

Quiet, convenient to freeways and restaurants (Chili’s is right next door), excellent breakfast, front desk is staffed 24 hours by friendly, helpful staff, all this and pet friendly!
