Kibo Palace Hotel Arusha

Very noisy at night due to the excessively loud music played in the pool area by the hotel until well after 11pm. The food was average all round. Otherwise a very pleasant stay.

Good location, clean and comfortable room, a pleasant stay before and after the challenging hike!

We stayed here the night before and night after our safari. All facilities were to a good standard. Nice pool area. Rooms were clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. On both days we were there, they put on some awful techno/dance music while we were having afternoon drinks by the pool which shattered what is actually a nice peaceful area, which was a shame.

I have stayed at the Kibo palace many times and it is always excellent.

I stayed at the hotel for one night after Kilimanjaro climb and Safari. Very nice, safe hotel with excellent service and good restaurant.

I've stayed at the Mt. Meru and Meru Lodge. Kibo may not have the luxurious grounds of the Meru Hotel, but the staff makes up for it. They are friendly and accommodating.

Stayed three times over a fortnight en route to safari, to Zanzibar and home. Great little place for a comfy stay.

It was generally ok and safe.

My daughter & I stayed here for a night before & after our safari. Lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff. It was no problem to leave our luggage that we didn't want to take on safari which was really helpful as we were going on for a beach holiday in Zanzibar afterwards. Lovely buffet breakfast with lots to choose from, & dinner was also a buffet at reasonable prices. Will definitely stay here if I come back to Arusha.
