Carpets were pretty dirty and the bathroom floor/ counters were not very clean either. However it was easily wiped clean and the location made it seem unimportant!!!

Beautiful location and cute decor in the room, lots of beach items to borrow, and lovely common area.

Located at the Ocean.

We appreciated the access to the ocean and surrounding places to shop and eat within walking distance. The view from the patio area displays a beautiful place to watch the sunset! This time of year, a seagull has her young on the roof which is entertaining to watch. Early mornings were chilly, but you can hear the seals down by the shore. Scripps In also has beach towels, beach items to borrow, ice machine and a couple of bicycles to ride if you like. A telescope is available during the day to check out the boats out in the ocean. Truely amazing!

On this past visit..... a bunch of little kids above our room was quite noisy. Other than that - love it!!

Right at the ocean and tide pools, away from the tourists, the PERFECT location! Had a ocean view, fireplace, kitchenette and table, large and confy bed! Best of all was sweet man as host!

Dumb but well- meaning mags types visiting where you had to laugh at his unfunny jokes. AKA, nothing.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed. Beautiful, unique, very clean and quiet, 2 steps from the ocean. You can hear the waves while sleeping. Great bed and all the bathroom amenities are high quality. Me. At the reception was very welcoming and polite. Thank you!

I love that it’s closer to the ocean

The bed and pillows are very uncomfortable. The upstairs neighbor walked all night and woke us up very early. The insulation in this place is not existing. You can hear the upstairs neighbors walking.

Beautiful property and the stay was great. Only thing is the man in the front desk made a comment I didn’t appreciate. My 3 year old son was outside of the office and he was yelling out of excitement. He asked if he would be doing that the whole stay. It was around 3pm when we checked in. I don’t see why he felt the need to make that comment. I would visit again, but without my children because I didn’t feel they were 100% welcome. If you have children and plan to visit be sure they are trained to keep very quiet.

The location is beautiful, it is just a few minutes walk to the cove or to the beach. Room was clean and comfortable.

We liked having lots of restaurants within walking distance. We liked the little patio area with a view of the ocean.
