The front desk staff was amazing. overall, the stay was all that was desired and I will return to stay again.

The parking at the hotel was a bit hairy because the lot is shared by the restaurant and had to park across the street which proved to be a bit dangerous crossing with luggage, etc. It would be nice if you have a reservation, you are guaranteed a space at the hotel, not across the street.

I preface this review by saying that I have stayed at this same hotel 3 times in the last six months. Each time was an OK (3 star at best) experience: the first was a 'city view' room. No balcony. Hidden passages to get to it, etc. Spooky and I felt like I needed an escort to get there. The second was an ocean front with adjoining doors, which I despise, and feel is the worst thing hotels have ever done ... leaving no room at all for noise cancellation between strangers, etc. And now this time. Again, an ocean front room. Again, an adjoining door. This time, instead of a respectable guest being next door, it was a mother with two boys. A LOUD mother with LOUDER boys. Now, if you're familiar with those types of rooms, you know that not only can you hear someone fart next door, you also get a front row seat to surround sound events. Such as slamming doors. Which is the case here. AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN. I have no idea what was going on, but they checked in about 5 pm, give or take, and were in and out of the room what seemed like every 15 minutes to a half hour, each and every time letting the door slam. With adjoining doors, that is made even worse because there is nothing to stifle the noise. I was looking forward to a quiet night. We had just settled a very sad personal matter (death in the family), and a de-stress was in order. Sadly, Mama and the ill-behaved ducklings made it impossible. Hours later, at 10:15, when the family was now in the hallway discussing whatever, I finally opened the door and asked if there was an issue? No! Not at all! And into the room they went, SLAMMING the door. No courtesy, hold it until it latches, nothing. And then they left. And came back. And left. And came back. Until nearly 12:30. But wait ... morning came early and they left at 6:45 or so. And came back. And left. And came back. Sigh. Did I call downstairs? No. Why? Because they paid for a room, too. So rather than complain (and be called Karen, I am for sure) for simply wanting the same thing as they did: value for my money, I took a different route. When I checked out, I asked to see the manager. He was nice. Clearly not interested in hearing anything past Good Morning, but nice. Still, I did not complain. Instead, I suggested that when folks check in, it should be considered that staff point out the document guests are asked to sign that they be respectful of other guests and keep the noise down after 10. His response? He can't do that. You can tell people the document says the parking is on site but you can't point out that Number One is keep the damn noise down? He then said he can't tell people how to act. Did I ask you to? I countered with 'that's not what I'm suggesting', I'm suggesting that you remind people they are SIGNING OFF on being respective, since clearly some guests do need to be reminded. His retort? I should have called the front desk to complain. And then what? Would you tell them THEN to be respective? TELL THEM UP FRONT! Anyway, we departed with him wishing me a good day, I could see the "Karen" in his eyes anyway and could also see the total lack of understanding as well. Long story, I know, and let the comments begin. Honestly, I'm a little tired of having to sacrifice my peace to support the right of someone else to have it. I'm also tired of companies and their managers thinking I'm literally made of money so inconvenience should be expected. So Congrats, Marriott OC. You're officially rid of me and have room for more door slamming, privileged, disrespectful guests who could care less if the value received was worth the dollar paid. You have a nice day as well!

Cleanliness, Maintenance came promptly to repair TV. Reported problem with refrigerator and staff was going to have maintenance respond.

Cleanliness. Staff was welcoming. Breakfast at the captains table was great.

The only thing I didn’t like was the parking. The spaces in the parking garage were very close together and very limited.

Everyone in this facility is top notch! Professional and courteous.

Wonderful redone oceanfront property! Midweek great pricing, parking is $10 but covered and worth it, clean, great beds and views. Odd setup (third floor desk, lobby, etc) and access to beachfront first floor rooms made for a lot of walking and riding up and down. But the views! And walk right onto the boardwalk. And the room was immaculate, large, all around excellent. Front desk people were accommodating and we will stay again. Strongly recommend. Also there’s a restaurant inside but we didn’t get to go.
