Kalamaki Beach Resort

This hotel is out of the way a bit so its great for just staying put and enjoying the beach or pool: both of which are awesome. Get a half board room as the food is good and all you can eat. You can get lunch from the pool bar or a small take away outside. Prices reasonable. We loved it. Great staff. Be aware that its only for going there and staying there. But once you are there you won't want to leave anyway.

The hotel has had a face lift. At the time of our visit there were only a few other people in the hotel, the service was very good, the few staff could not do enough for us. The views from the room was astounding, and looking at the layout of the hotel and its location most rooms get a sea view.

The Kalamaki Beach Hotel is well situated on an east-facing beach a few kilometres south of the Corinth Isthmus. The Hotel facilities are very adequate, including a nice pool. The rooms have balconies with lovely views over the beach and bay. They are adequately furnished and large enough for a short stay but have no facilities for making hot drinks. The evening meal was very good but the breakfast was only adequate. We did not see many tavernas or local restaurants nearby but Corinth is not far away. If you stay here, Epidavros is about 30 kilometres away and the huge well-preserved amphitheatre there is worth a visit.

The hotel is situated south of the Corinth canal and is well signposted on coast road. From this ideal location you are able to visit all the sites in the region returniing to the hotel for an excellent night. Dinner is served in the hotel if required. I extended my stay to 3 nights. To reach the hotel from Athens airport takes an hour on an expressway.All aspects of the hotel were good. Very helpful reception staff. Enjoy your stay.

Friendly Staff, generous and clean accomodation, good food all in a beautiful location with stunning views. The Hotel offered many facities,well kept garden,pool and beach. Something for every one from old gits like me to young families. The rural location offered peace and quiet during my stay in mid October, I enjoyed hearing the owls and the sound of the sea on a windy night. Being sited in Isthmia the Hotel offered easy access to the numerous ancient sites I had come to visit. My best holiday experience in Greece on this my fifth visit.

The hotel and room were quite nice and modern (by Greek standards); hotel was isolated; it had a nice pool, beach and grounds; food was cafeteria food with little flavour and overcooked but plentiful and there was a pleasant outdoor seating option. Hotel was well located for visits to Ancient Corinth; Mycenae and Epidavros. Great food in small travernas in Loutraki and villages around.
