Knights Inn Port Charlotte

Lights were missing light bulbs, sink would drain very slowly, and there was no breakfast to speak of. When I inquired about breakfast, the clerk did not speak very good English and said that someone did not show up, so there would not be any breakfast. We stayed for a week and there was nothing to eat except waffles you had to make yourself. Juice machine was broken the entire week. We will not be staying in this hotel again.

Stained towels, dirty floor in bathroom area (our feet were black). Comfortable beds.

The hotel clerk took 10 minutes to get to the desk to check me in. There were strange men around the door of my room that she placed me in and the curtains did not close securely. The room smelled badly with a body odor smell and garlic. It did not look like it was clean. I felt unsafe and dirty in room 208. I asked the owner for a change. He gave me a newer room, Room 211. The clerk was angry that I got a newer room. She needs to be fired, for sure. She was a thug. The guys outside of the room ended up being ok. They were construction workers that left at 5:30 -6 in the morning. I know this since it was very loud at that time.

Don't stay here, staff is useless and rents to druggies and prostitutes and doesn't care. Hotel staff goes in your room once you leave, I wouldn't recommend this place at all your safer sleeping in your vechicle. Still trying to get a refund we left an after the safety of our family was put at risk. We weren't even there 2 hours.

The towels were dirty looking. 2 nights out of the 4 we had to ask for towels, Bugs in the room. No tissues, TV reception bad, Heater/Air Conditioner didn't work properly (It had it's own agenda and knocked all night). The floor was so uneven you walked like a drunk in there. Definitely not suitable for senior citizens.

just wanted a cheap room for the night as we got in late at the airport. A lot of Riff-Raff hanging around, made it uncomfortable. don't look under the bedspreads at floor level, seashells and who knows what else crap was there. breakfast was a joke- Juice machine broke, nothing but pancakes.

From a wet floor to burnt holes in the sheets and a bad mildew smell in the room

As soon as we opened the door a musty odor smacked us right in the face. The (once white) bathroom towels were dingy and brown. The toilet had curly hairs and dirt underneath the seat towards the back. Its like they forgot to clean the toilet. SOOOO disgusting!. The fridge was filthy and still had open drinks in it from the previous stay. Sheets were stainy and had cigarette burns throughout. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PLACE!

The breakfast is very limited, but it is better than the Bob Evans next door.

I was here for a funeral and Ms. Glass was very helpful and understanding. I will definitely be back!
