American Inn Cleburne

Between the trains and the neighbor clearly doing some sort of grinding or sanding all night, it was tough to sleep.

this property has a bedbug infestation. and they had the nerve to say that i bought them with me and it was my problem not theirs. steer clear of this place at all cost

The rooms were kinda run downed, the AC worked but very loud, and maid was rude

Found a lot of food left over in the freezer and refrigerator! Tv didn’t work well, tv picture color was way off and no way to adjust it

My husband and his friend were in town for the Spartan Race. They needed a clean and comfortable place to stay for a couple nights. The American Inn was perfect for them. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked great. They would definitely recommend this hotel. It doesn't look like all that much on the outside, but the rooms are great. It is obviously an older hotel, but they are working hard to keep it up to date. Free wifi. The breakfast is very minimal. The only items offered when they were there was cereal and biscuits and gravy. If you are looking for a place to eat while you are in Cleburne, they highly recommend Joe's Pizza.

Usually try to stick to the bigger chains, but we were left hanging by a Cleburne Manufacturer and wanted to stay close. We asked to see a room and the owner was MORE than happy to show us one. The room was clean, recently updated and HUGE. We ended up staying and were VERY pleased. I will warn you that it is owned by people of "middle eastern" decent, but the property does not fall in to the stereotypical foreign owned places. VERY friendly people and a clean comfy room. What more can you ask for. Give them a try. I think that even if you are somewhat picky, you will not be sorry. Oh, and good wi fi!!!!!!

On my most recent visit to Cleburne I stayed at the American Inn and I was very pleasantly surprised! It's kinda true, this motel doesn't look really great from the outside, but the rooms were super clean and very spacious! The employees were very friendly and my room was spotless after housekeeping had cleaned. The American Inn is a very nice motel and very affordable too. I will definitely stay there again.

The outside may not look great but this is a great motel. The rooms are huge, paint is fresh, everything is really clean. Nice size flat screen, great channel selection. I travel alot with my job and stay in alot of motels in this price range, this one ranks right up at the top. I never use one but one might see the fact they have no pool as a downside.

Great hotel, very clean, extremely friendly staff. I will stay here again. Great value for the price. Beds are very comfortable, shower has fantastic water pressure. This hotel is also very quite. I was very pleased with my experience last night 8-14-2012 and look forward to staying here again next time I'm in the area.
