Comfort Suites South Point - Huntington

The hotel was the closest to where I wanted to be. Other than that it was average. Not bad not great

We asked for early check in and were given it, which we appreciated, but when we got to our room found it to be a king studio instead of a two-queen studio. Since we had two young grandchildren with us and had booked for 4, we went back to request the two-queen unit we had reserved. (It had been changed by the hotel for unknown reasons.) They had only one queen unit ready, near the pool. It smelled of dirty locker room and the bathroom was dingy, but we took it to get the kids settled. It turned out to be a very damp room. The door to the outside just beyond our room at the end of the hall had a broken lock, so the hall wasn’t secured at night. The pool is cold! It also had some clumps of hair and debris in it, but we did see it being cleaned as we left. On the positive side, breakfast was decent and the staff members we met were pleasant and helpful. The first room we went to on the second floor looked in better shape on quick look. Location was perfect for our needs, but we will probably look elsewhere in the future.

This location was convenient for our trip. The facility was clean and staff were helpful.

King bed and room were clean and comfortable. Simple and spacious with pull out couch.

We have stayed at this same hotel 3 times. The 1st was good. The 2nd not quite as good but let it slide. This time the only thing that was acceptable was the outside, lobby, staff and breakfast. The carpet was filthy in our room, scuffed doors and dirty, the towels had a strange smell.

it’s clean convenient quiet and affordable

you have to walk through smokers outside to get to the parking lot they should be moved further from the front door & the indoor pool was to cold to get in
