The Inn At Plantation

The staff were friendly and check in was good. The room was very dated, smelled musty, and the bed was horrible. The place was noisy all night with routy loud people above at 04:30. Breakfast was not very good with a very limited selection, no juice. Just cereal, loaf bread, premade sausage rounds and premade egg rounds. The whole area around the hotel looked delapadated and run down.

There was some candy wrappers around the bottom of the bed that was left by the previous people.

Stairway access very scruffy

The architecture was neat and the staff friendly. We were on a ghost hunting trip and the location was great. The stay not so much..

1.Staff lack communication skills with each other and myself, had requested a late check out when booking (3 rooms total) but 1 room got barged in on at 830 am because the front desk told house keeping they were gone. 2. The bathroom and sink area tile was SO slick (all 3 rooms) so im assuming its something they are putting on them. They werent clean at all. I wanted to change clothes in the bathroom but had nowhere I felt comfortable putting my clean clothes. So I got a clean towell and spread it out on the floor. 3. Didn't use showers because we felt we were cleaner. 4. The beds were comfortable and appeared to be clean when inspecting BUT, after only a "2 hr nap" I woke up smelling urine. Once the bed was warm that's all u smelled. I couldn't sleep in it. I just got up. Yes, I still felt cleaner not getting in the showers! 5. Provided a free breakfast, but no drinks. Not even water, you had to go to the front desk and pay for all drinks with cash. The breakfast was terrible and they expected u to choke it down with nothing to drink.
