Coast Grimshaw Hotel & Suites

Hotel was clean and quiet, staff were great. Nice pool and big gym.

Loved the fresh bagels. Would have liked yogourt on the second day.

It was fine. There were dishes in the dishwasher from the previous guest. Didn’t impact our stay, we were here one night just passing through. The place was nice and spacious.

Front desk staff was having difficulties with the reservation and asked another staff member to help as the customer (myself) was waiting right there and she rudely said she couldn’t help and went outside for a cigarette! So the young lady at the desk had to phone her manager for help!

Our room stank like beer and puke and when trying to change reservations the service was terrible.

A quiet hotel, especially when sleep is what counts. Rooms are spacious. Always a good sleep, here

The woman at the reception was extremely rude (but you have received this comment many times and have, apparently - done nothing about it. After checking in, I went to my room, but the key cards did not work. I hauled my luggage down to the receptionist and told her about this. She re-keyed the cards, but came upstairs within to ensure they worked - they did not. She claimed that there was a malfunction with the lock, yet she was able to open the door with her master key card (if there was a malfunction with the lock, then why did her car work and not mine?). So, every time I wanted to get into my room, I had to ask her to open it for me - extremely inconvenient. Secondly: I could not lock on to the wifi. After telling her about this, she gave me a number to call to have this issue fixed. I told her that this was not my problem and that she should do that for me. She refused in the most obnoxious manner, and we started an argument. Now, I am a very quiet person who does not get excited quickly, but the obtuseness, arrogance, and pure incompetence of this woman got on my nerves. My advice to you: If you are concerned about your hotel‘s reputation, sever yourself from this person - she only does you harm.
