Sejours & Affaires Manosque Moulin Neuf

Stayed part of one night as this is the nearest hotel to Manosque hospital to which a young American friend had been admitted after a serious bicycle accident. Her Mom asked me to help out as I live in France. Her sister and I arrived at the hotel around 11 pm and exhausted and anxious we headed to our very hot and stuffy rooms (no aircon) without reading the not obvious sign on the front door which the surly receptionist the following day told me explained the difference between an Hôtel with daily housekeeping and an aparthotel like this...nothing. Apparently I had told her in the Morning as we rushed off to the hospital about the disgusting leak from the fridge and she claims she had efficiently got it cleaned up. When we returned to the place around 1600 in order to check out as we couldn’t bear the heat the night before, she couldn’t understand my surprise that the room and shower room hadn’t been serviced. She made no attempt to appreciate the difficult circumstances the reason for staying. I asked for a refund of the second night’s stay and she claimed that it was too late as they would not be able to sell the rooms again as the housekeeper had left. As our rooms had been booked the evening before, I find that hard to accept. She begrudgingly phoned 3 taxi services for us and fortunately I had kept the card of Taxi Alix who came to our rescue and whisked us to the fantastic Ibis Manosque. The room was basic, but more concerning is the leak from the fridge which I could have slipped on during the night. The management need to do something about their front office’s attitude and I’m not surprised that the receptionist confirmed that not many people visiting the hospital stay there. I should point out that the care and facilities at Manosque hospital are incredible. The staff were so kind and helpful with non French speakers. The staff at Ibis Manosque were also incredibly kind and efficient. The big plus is the aircon and cleanliness, but more importantly the lovely staff. Unfortunately the Ibis is not within walking distance of the hospital but I can highly recommend Alix Taxi 06 07 65 28 47

시내에서 약간 떨어져 있지만 무료주차가 좋아요. 에어컨이 없는 점은 아쉽지만 조용한 점이 좋았습니다.

Les chambres sont assez grandes. Pas de climatisation et impossible de réserver le petit déjeuner si arrivée tardive.

Il nous manquait la fraîcheur pour la nuit. Clim ou au moins moustiquaire pour laisser la fenêtre ouverte

Reception is not open in the evenings and never received any email with the necessary codes to access the lobby and room key. Location is quite inconvenient and a bit difficult to find. No air conditioner in room and if window is left open, mosquitos will come in and can smell cigarette smoke from inconsiderate people smoking in the parking lot. Room service is only provided once every seven days as per note posted at hotel. Should have paid more for a better place in a convenient location. Seems to be setup more for very long term guests. The all-you-can eat Asian buffet next door, Chez Le, was excellent!
