"You could do no better -- stay here"

We could not recommend highly enough. Willy and Shoney are great hosts. Three-course breakfasts were amazing. Homemade cookies set out as take-aways every day. Free glasses of wine on the porch in the evening. Wonderful live music included on Saturday night. On-point advice about what to do around Asheville. All in a beautiful and historic home. I don't know what they could do to make it better. Just a fantastic place to stay.

Convenient to downtown; lovely house with quirky enhancements in at least the Fitzgerald room; good breakfast presented with slightly manic rules.

"4 NIGHTS IN ASHEVILLE"

THIS BED AND BREAKFAST WAS THE PERFECT PLACE TO ENJOY OUR TIME IN ASHEVILLE. THE OWNERS AND STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL WITH THINGS TO DO AND PLACES TO EAT. THE HOUSE WAS WELL MAINTANED.

"Great Location, Beautiful Inn But..."

The location is wonderful. The inn is beautiful but we wouldn't go back under the current ownership. The Thomas Wolfe room was large. The bathroom was very odd. Interesting and "artwork like" but not totally functional . Lack of counter space and true bath tub was disappointing. Supporting staff was friendly and helpful.

"Top of Line Asheville B&B"

Room had a top of line spa bath and steam shower and other amenities. Great breakfast delivered to door. Flavia coffee machine with dozens of coffee pod choices. Mini fridge and microwave. Garden patio. Will return.

"Lovely inn and very gracious service"

We had a great stay at Montford Inn. Innkeepers go out of their way to please and create a quiet restful spot. House is gorgeous and very comfortable
