Colonel's Suites

Very nice suites. Look to be newly renovated. Only negative was no elevator.

Rooms are very large - full bedroom and separate living area with pull out sofa and kitchenette. It is walk up only - so not handicapped accessible. Also, the location in Northeast Harbor is convenient for island activities, but this is considered the “quiet side”, so there is not as much going on in town in the shoulder season as there is in Bar Harbor. Breakfast was great in the restaurant attached to the hotel - bring some cash to tip b/c gratuities are not included.

Very well maintained and clean in the heart of the city

The rooms were clean, all the amenities were good and the location was nice. But no one was there to tell us about breakfast even though it was said to be available when I booked the room. We have to mention this because there was nothing to eat outside of the area. The other problem was that they charged $146 and this was partly because of an extra guest, which we didn't have and they charge $15 for that. I wanted clarification on who this extra guest was, but no one showed up to check us out so we left on our own and left the key.

Wasn’t able to check in.. no staff around, hotel close early, we arrived at 0545 PM..

The Colonel’s suites was an adorable and cozy home away from home! Great stay!

The bakery is amaaaazing, and the place is comfortable. Breakfast was the best thing I ate on our trip to Acadia.

Our first time in Acadia - Colonels Suites and Northeast Harbor turned out to be the perfect location for us. Great breakfast, clean and quiet room. Very comfortable bed. Close to the park and a short drive to busier, louder and more expensive Bar Harbor. Had a wonderful time - hope to return in a few years.

Homey atmosphere. Quite little town with pleasant crowd.

Enjoyed this hotel with a yummy bakery and a wonderful restaurant !
