"If you open the pool it should be kept clean and netted daily. Rooms would benefit from a fridge and kettle as not every"

Lovely quiet location.

If you choose not to eat Michelin for more than 1 evening the alternative restaurant menu is very limited and certainly mediocre.

lovely grounds, very tranquil, peaceful, green and Zen garden like, restaurant was amazing

"Relaxing in the country after long flight"

We loved everything. It was our kind of location. Only 5km from the town. Also, they were very accommodating and let us check in early after a very long Atlantic evening flight.

"Nice but pricey"

Room was excellent and staff helpful upon arrival. Very pretty gardens and outdoor seating areas. Nice and quite and relaxing.

The swimming pool was extremely cold which made it difficult to use. Considering the room rate we feel that the use of the spa facilities should have been included. There was no choice of what to eat for breakfast. We ordered lunch at the hotel and the fish was very undercooked which was worrying since one of our party was pregnant, though the chef did re cook the dish for us which made up for this.

"Sitio ideal para desconectar"

Es un sitio magnífico para una escapada de desconexión, con unas habitaciones muy amplias y bonitas (cama cómoda, televisión grande y decorada con mucho gusto) y con una oferta gastronómica de muy alto nivel. El servicio del personal profesional y atento, me olvidé el cargador y gestionaron el envío inmediatamente. No hay cobertura si no es con el wi-fi del propio hotel (al menos yo no tenía) y más que ser un problema, me pareció un lujazo. Muy recomendable!!!

"Peace and quiet in rural Spain"

My wife and I were determined to spend a night deep in the Spanish countryside, and that's just what we got. Molino de Alcuneza is a charming, rustic hotel located in the shadow of a tiny village (the eponymous Alcuneza). We found its two cottages and pool set in a perfect, relaxing setting. Staff were accommodating and the natural surroundings were outstanding. One of the only things that could be better are the room layouts that are a little odd. But lets not be petty. The Molino offers a near perfect experience in the Spanish countryside.
