Despotiko Hotel

Fantastic view. Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms. The staff is incredibly helpful and polite.

It was a weekend for celebration. The hotel gave us all what we needed, comfortable room, nice relaxed lobby with fireplace and comfortable sofas. We appreciated the wine recommendation from the staff and most of all the quality food in the adjacent “gefsikratoras” restaurant. We would gladly come back.

Το ξενοδοχείο συνολικά ήταν πολύ καλο. Πολύ καθαρό και μας έγινε και δωρεάν αναβάθμιση δωματίου χωρίς να το έχουμε ζητήσει. Το μόνο αρνητικό ήταν η συμπεριφορά των ατόμων στην ρεσεψιόν που δεν ήταν αγενής ωστόσο υπήρχε μια αδιαφορία.

A very interesting area and facility. Ours was a short overnight stay, but very pleasant and enjoyable. Breakfast offering was substantial and we enjoyed a sunny, outside setting. Good value for the money.

The village and view were very picturesque. The hotel and pool are slightly less grand than they appear on the pictures, but the family room with two double bed was great for two friends sharing, but would be cramped for a whole family.

We stay at this great place for 3 nights. Hotel is rather new. Very clean. We took a family room that has 2 double bed (one is at the attic). Breakfast is very good, lots of options. The pool is nice, the kids loved it. Only downside of this hotel is the narrow path that leads to it, but once you do it once, it's OK. I would get back to this place for sure. Portrait is a great place to stay. Many options to have lunch or dinner and also cafe with great deserts.

The hotel was very impressive and we all loved it. We had a family style room with an upstairs loft, which was not as well ventilated as downstairs but was otherwise very comfortable. Our view over the pool and the bay below was gorgeous. It's a little nerve-wracking driving up to the hotel as the old stone pathway is very narrow indeed, as well as being steep, but luckily there is an ample parking garage once you get there. Breakfast was a fantastic spread and service was wonderful! There were not many places to eat in the immediate area but we enjoyed heading up to Makrinitsa for dinner. We would definitely stay here again!
