Rooms were a bit hot and due to ground floor location didn't feel able to sleep with window open. Also would have preferred a better locking system on door as I couldn't tell if it was locked or not.

Such a shame, The Willow House is definitely missing a trick by continuing with a policy, presumably introduced for Covid, of check in and check out by text/email. No human interaction at all, so unable to let them know the shower needs replacing (tip if you stay in room 8 - turn shower dribble on, operate sink tap, which seems to release something and shower will then work), they give the wrong wifi code, stupid little things like that which make the difference between an adequate or a good rating.

GBThe place is beautiful, historical and cosy. Friendly staff provides good communication and clear instructions. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The place is easy to find and has great atmosphere.
