Hiroshima Intelligent Hotel Annex

Staff was nice enough. I suppose the old building and some of the interior has some traditional charm (but this has its downside). The location is wonderful, nice area.

Due to limited availability, I was assigned a smoking room. I have stayed in many smoking rooms previously, but this one smelled like a 1970s bingo hall.

The location is excellent, a short stroll from Hiroshima train station, and also a 15 minute walk to Hiroshima Gate Park and shops and restaurants are very close by. The breakfast area is elegant and overlooks the river. Staff were very welcoming.

My window looked out onto a brick wall! It would have been nice if I could have ordered a couple of fried eggs for breakfast as they only had scrambled egg, but quite a range of food in the buffet.

Quality of the room. Small, uncomfortable matrice.
