Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Mankato East by IHG

We stayed in one of your suites. It provides a lovely space for my family to have coffee talk in the morning. This was our third year in a row doing this and everyone was lovely. I was born in Mankato and this hotel gives me a great place there to relax with family.

Amazing breakfast and a great pool area!

The service and staff was great! No complaints at all. Breakfast was great. Beds were comfortable. However, when we ch aged into our room. The counter in the kittenette was very dirty, their was hair on the bathroom counter still, the bathtub had food chunks on the drain, and the garbage bag for the main room but have leaked with the previous occupants and the garbage can was not cleaned out. If our room had been cleaned properly would have had 5 stars . Just very unfortunate before we could settle in we felt the need to wipe all the surfaces down.

The hotel is great, clean and modern. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious, modern and the bedding was so comfortable. We used the hot tub and found it very relaxing. They provide towels by the pool to use and if you forget any toiletries just tell the staff and they will give you what you need. We will definitely stay there again on our next visit.

Front staff was amazing. Breakfast was good. Room was not clean as it should of been. Couch had food smeared on it. Bathroom shower had old soap scum looked like it had been there for a while.

How do I begin. My husband passed away and my niece flew in from Hawaii. She has never been to the Midwest in the winter. She flew in and had to get back to Hawaii for work tomorrow. My other niece was there also. I figured it would as save an hour drive time to get to airport since she had to leave so early. So for such a sad event we took them out to lunch dropped Jeff off at hotel then went shopping. I love to thrift shop and my one niece had never been in one so that was our first stop. Then neither had ever been to a pawn shop so that was stop two. I bought them each a diamond band ring that matched to have them have a remembrance of the weekend. Then we came back to hotel where we sat and talked and talked...such a wonderful day after sadness all thanks to the wonderful staff here in Mankato... what very special people who are now all my friends. We were so blessed to have this time together. Thanks girls thank you holiday inn Mankato.
