Although the room was well kept the breakfast was horrendous. Nothing worse than a hot breakfast that isn't hot. Barely room temperature eggs, biscuits and gravy & potatoes that were a pile of mush. Absolutely terrible way to start the morning.

As we've done numerous times throughout the years; we stayed here, while visiting relatives in the area. The facility is clean and well-maintained; and our check-in was welcoming and efficient. Our room was comfortable, and offered a pleasant retreat during our stay. The complimentary breakfast was decent; nothing fancy, but a reasonable selection of items from which to choose. All and all, this location continues to be our preferred lodging, when staying in the area; and is a solid representative for the franchise.

The hotel appeared to have recently been updated as the room was improved since our last visit. However, like many Hampton Inns more attention needs to be paid to the shower area as the caulking was worn/missing/stained. We were also surprised to find out only suites include microwaves, and moreso that nobody told us when we checked in we could have one brought to our room but had to use the microwave in the dining area. We were not told this until the next day. Another issue is that the toilets are really loud when flushed. The manager Nicole was very unprofessional and insulting when I mentioned at checkout that the noise would wake up my wife if I were to use it while she was sleeping. She stated she was sorry that my wife was so sensitive. She could have just explained the reason for the noise without this rude comment. As long as she is managing this hotel we will chose another option when in the area.
