Hampton Inn & Suites Lincoln - Northeast I-80

The woman working the front desk was incredible kind and helpful. Outside of that its a very standard hampton inn, nothing exceptional but decent value and clean / cool.

We very much appreciated that at check-in we were given a first floor room that had become available even though we had been told at time of reservation that our choice of room would have to put us on the second floor.

We arrived at midnight and had a quick easy check in. The room was clean and comfortable. Lots of lighting in the parking lot which I appreciate . We once had our car broken into at a hotel so good lighting is important. There’s a nice patch of grass for dogs to walk around too.

The man that works the front desk is one of the rudest people I’ve ever come in contact with. First, I called to modify our reservation a few days before our arrival. He modified it and then when I received my new confirmation email I realized that he had adjusted the dates and they were not correct. I called right back. He then told me that I was going to have to wait. He was outside picking up trash and his shift was about to end and he was really busy. So, I waited. I wasn’t upset at all because I knew it was just a simple mistake but I thought wow, that’s a rude way to speak to a customer. Then when we were at the hotel trying to check in there was no one at the desk. We waited approximately 20 minutes for someone to come to the desk. Again, I understand staffing issues can be a problem and I wasn’t upset. I just asked to check in. We were with a sports team that some had came the night before. He told me that he wasn’t able to give me an open room because our team had been using the elevator too much and getting complaints. He wanted to give me a room on the same floor as my teammates but none of those were ready yet. He had already told me they had an entire floor of rooms open and ready. We just needed a room, we didn’t care what floor. He ended up giving us an open room thankfully. Then he tells me that if he keeps getting complaints then it’s on me. I explained that we were just arriving and I wasn’t responsible for anything that had happened before. It was the same man that I had spoke to on the phone, as I recognized his voice. There were no thank yous, have a nice stay, or anything. He was the rudest front desk man I’ve ever come in contact with. If we hadn’t been staying here with my daughter’s team, I would have walked out.

I loved the size of the room. It was soo big and yes it was worth the cost. Very quiet area, wonderful beds and yes my children loved it soo much that we had to have an extra day of stay to enjoy it more.

Excellent service and a great hotel!! We stayed here in June 2024 and May 2025. I called the hotel directly to make our reservation and spoke with a kind and professional representative. Maybe it’s the Midwestern hospitality that is lacking in other areas?? The hotel is off Interstate 80 which is convenient. There are several fast food options if that’s what you like. Our room was clean, quiet and very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again! I highly recommend this Hilton property!!
