Smooth check in the process

I am a big person so stepping up into the tub to have a shower was a bit hazardous. The shower space in the tub also wasn’t very big and felt quite unstable.

Welcoming, helpful and attentive staff, who are a credit to the place. A good location, close to no less than three supermarkets, and surprisingly quiet given that it's near a fairly main road. I'm sure that it will be a lovely place to stay once the improvements are complete (late 2026?).

The accommodation was in the process of being significantly upgraded (the grounds, buildings, new driveways), and hence there was scaffolding everywhere, and workers coming and going. This should really have been made clear prior to booking (it was mentioned in the post-booking email). Wifi was unusable, and the kitchenette was a little on the sparse side.

The front foyer was very nice. Obviously the complex is in renovation, not that made any difference to a quiet and comfortable stay. The unit was very clean and decore looked very nice. Beds were very comfortable. Would have no problem staying again or telling others to stay there. So close to all needs in walking distance.
