The motel was perfect for my two day stay. Comfy bed, good facilities. Lovely friendly staff and an easy location for a fast takeaway. All within a short stroll. Botanical gardens nearby.

Party town. Thursday drunken revelry from a house across the street. I’m assuming students. Not the Motels fault in any way, and yes the partiers all finally fell asleep. Well, we did the same thing as youngsters.

Central location, close to Castle Street Good communication from staff, clean room. Basic but sufficient accommodation. Accommodated my late check in.

Right the student area so you could expect some noise. They warned me of this and provided airplugs.

Good parking. Great location near the Forsyth Barr Stadium. Lots of food places nearby.

The shower needed some mould treatment and the handset was leaking which meant the pressure was low. That was the only issue. Otherwise it was a perfectly fine motel unit.
