Welcoming and friendly staff let me check-in an hour early. Room was spacious and parking was easy. I stayed for one night on a road trip. I left early in the morning on my way to Tongariro, and the location of the property is conveniently on the southern end of Taupo right on the main road I needed to take. The room was well equipped and comfortable for my stay. The wifi worked and was usable.

Sliding glass doors to enter the room didn't seem so secure, but I think this is standard in a very safe country as New Zealand. If you're from outside of NZ, a motel with glass doors as the main entry to the room just doesn't feel secure. Although Taupo is very peaceful area.
