We were pleasantly surprised to discover how much quieter our room was than expected, considering it is located above a junction point of the Wellington northbound motorway system. It was very clean, comfortable and roomy, and offered a full kitchenette. Ideal for our stopover requirements.

I felt that the reception guy just wasn't interested. He did his job of checking us in and giving us a key and some milk, but there wasn't a smile or any enquiry or offer of information about additional facilities, like laundry, restaurant hours, etc.

Nothing Staff were inexperienced and had absolutely no idea of customer service. This hotel is a Fawlty Towers meets the Marigold Hotel.

Atrocious dinner service and over-cooked fish, no potatoes to make mash as on the menu, brought out chips. No Pavlova as advertised on the menu, brought out what looked like cake with ice cream on top. Doors had glass panels with no blind for privacy or to block the light from the security flood lights. Holes in the curtains where people on the outside could peep through at night. Ants on the dining table which I had to ask for fly spray for. Filthy soap dispenser. Filthy carpets, and generally grotty presentation of the whole complex.

Very comfortable bed, very tidy clean and well presented room. Would definiatley come back.
