Ahuriri Motels

Very comfortable stay, clean and neat room with plenty of space. Only negative was there was confusion over how late check-in was open. I received an email that said 8.30pm but when I called to say I'd arrive at 8.25pm they said they close at 8.00pm and made it sound like they were doing me a favour by staying open.

Bedroom to small for size of bed.

I arrived after the office had closed. A phone call prior made the arrangements very easy. This was an excellent property and I would come here again in a moment!

Quiet place in the middle of nowhere. Great stop if you wanted outdoor activities away from the crowds. Jennifer was very nice and helpful. My wife left her watch and they had it wrapped and ready when we returned.

For £65 this was a vry decent place to stay. We had a very friendly welcome at reception and the unit was clean, and adequate although a bit small. The location was quiet - but close to the small town. The unit had a comfortable bed, a kettle, fridge, microwave, good free wi-fi and a flat screen TV. There was a small glass table to eat at or work at. It was absolutely fine for a one night stopover. We visited the 'clay cliffs' early one summer evening - quite remarkable and worth seeing. Take $5 in cash for entry!

I was pleasantly surprised by how cute and quaint the Ahuriri Motels in Omarama were. Checking in late at night was easy since we sent an email beforehand letting them know we would be arriving late. The staff provided clear instructions for how to find our unit. The stay was comfortable, quiet, and spacious. The bathroom was nice, and although the motel wasn't super luxurious, it was well-kept and clean. We really enjoyed our one-night stay during our road trip and appreciated the relaxing break it provided. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Ex workers accommodation so good for either a short or longer stay. Would happily stay again.
