Balmoral Lodge Motel

Space in living area, tv with paid tv included, heating - room warm on arrival.

Bathroom dated, frying too small but other kitchen items were good. No dedicated parking outside our unit.

This is the second stay at this hotel and I was again impressed with the staff - particularly how friendly and helpful the room service team were. I was also very happy with how clean the room was. An older style place yet very clean and comfortable and spacious which was exactly what I needed as I could work from the lounge room table while my family were partaking in other activities.

I have to stress that this place is really great value however, if there was anything I would do first it would be 1. Upgrade the beds or at least add matress toppers although for those who like a firm matress then no need for a change here 2. Sound proofing - double glazing would really help reduce road noise 3. The room we stayed in had an upstairs - there's a window above the front door that only has a shear curtain and light comes through from street lights - a curtain here would make for a nicer sleep and lastly an extractor fan for the kitchen (being totally picky here!). Again the place is great value and I really like it's original yet functional state.

It was convenient and spacious for our family dynamics. Lovely and warm

Sound isolation is not very well, can hear people next door walking and using bathroom.
