Kelvin Hotel

Great location

Room was very dated and not in great condition. Did not match the photos online. Saw another room that did and wondered if the older rooms were given to discounted bookings.

Very beautiful hotel to stay, super close to everything and the staff are so friendly and welcoming, loved it so much, and the breakfast was awesome 👌👍❤️

Good size room, nice having the toilet room separate. Was surprisingly very quiet being located right in CBD. Free Wilson Parking was handy. Very clean inside, good quality linen. Good value for money. Showers were good pressure but does take quite some time to get hot. The room was warm and comfortable but didn’t like that had no control of temperature….no remote or anyway to change or turn off/on.

Beds and pillows were terribly uncomfortable. The beds were so hard even the kids who would normally sleep on anything found them uncomfortable. Pillows had all inside separated so lumpy and also very uncomfortable. We only stayed couple nights, but would have found somewhere else stay if were booked in for any longer.

Bath could have done with a scrub under the waterproof wall lip

As we had a 12 seater bus staff arranged parking in the staff car park a short walk away which was very good.Location was good and the Kelvin Hotel was eay to find in the city.

House bar full of pokie machines. Other bar not open. Not a good look for visitors.
