We stayed for just one night prior to walking the Tongariro Crossing, a perfect location was it wasn't far to drive to get to the shuttle bus the following morning. It was very quiet and peaceful, the rooms were spacious and had everything we needed. The surrounding gardens were lovely and the grounds well kept. Close to shops and eateries.

The stovetop wasn't working as efficiently as it could have but we managed.

Loved the fact that it was a 40yr old motel retaining many of the features if the time Spacious and friendly staff Individual carport Full well equipped kitchen

Some road noise but we quickly ignored that. Handy to Cycle Trail and walking distance to supermarket
