The clerk at the front desk collected my card, then a few days later a fraudulent charge ( not associated with the hotel ) popped up in my transactions and it was authorized the same day I checked in!

The check-in staff was genuinely kind and welcoming, which was the one bright spot of our stay. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience fell well below what we’ve come to expect from a Comfort Inn. The hotel had a strange odor throughout that we couldn’t identify, which made the stay uncomfortable from the start. Our room’s bathroom and shower were not clean or well-maintained to the standard we expected. The room door closer was also malfunctioning, making an extremely loud, unpleasant noise every single time the door was opened or closed. Breakfast was another major disappointment. Breakfast hours were listed as 6:00–9:00 AM, and we arrived at 8:35 AM—well before closing. However, the pancake batter and sausage (labeled pork sausage) were completely gone. When we asked, the attendant said she could make more, but it would take 20 minutes, which would have put it right at the end of breakfast service. She also commented that making more “would not be right because it was not fermented,” and the pancakes that were eventually made were indeed terrible. To make matters worse, the chocolate milk was curdled. Overall, this was a very disappointing stay, and based on this experience, we would not return.
