Holiday Inn & Suites Grand Junction-Airport by IHG

I was extremely disappointed in the whole experience here. 1) lock did not work on the door so our room was open for anyone to walk into. We figured this out after leaving the room and being able to walk back in. Video taken if needed. 2) restaurant hours did not match advertised hours or times provided on Paperwork at check in. 3) no towels at the pool and it was overrun by loud children and was an unpleasant experience for our family 4)bed was extremely uncomfortable 5)power outage - while not rhe hotels fault- I was stuck in the elevator 6) call buttons on the elevator did not work this leaving us trapped with out a proper way to contact help and lighting in the stairway was non existent so in the absence of power the only way to access the rooms was pitch dark and a safety hazard

Staff was very rude

We did the park and fly. Stay there, park your car for $7 a day they take you to the airport and pick you up pretty good deal … until the pick up shuttle. Front desk failed to inform me to call before 4:30pm for pick up. Front desk stated she can call a taxi or I can uber. Holiday will pay for a taxi so I opted for that. I talked to front desk at 6:12 pm for a taxi. At 6: 42 pm no taxi I called front desk to confirm and she stated she called them but will call again. This time she got my name and number. 6:54 pm taxi confirmed my pick up via text. I asked when this request was called in he stated 6:52 pm. I am highly disappointed with holiday inn. The front desk never bothered to call a taxi until the 2nd time I called to get a taxi. Poor customer service.

Great room, clean and comfy. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. We had our dog with us and it is such a plus to be in a pet friendly hotel.

Breakfast and the server were good.

Front desk person seemed drugged and disinterested in the entire process. Wait staff at the dinner was yelling across the room of the restaurant and treating it like an 1850's saloon.

It was clean and the staff was nice

The bed was horrible it was like sleeping on a slab of concrete

First the good: it was clean and the restaurant's staff was very nice. The bathroom was nice.

I asked for a quiet room and she gave me one that was overlooking the freeway, which is only about fifteen feet away. The bedroom part of the room was pretty tacky. The furniture was chipped, and so is the wallpaper. The decor was very dated This hotel needs an update.
