The shower was hot and the bed was comfortable.

The light didn't have a switch - you just plugged it in. It worked but it was weird.

It was easy to find and close to the restaurants. The shower was nice.

The lobby was locked when I arrived even though it was within my confirmed arrival time; the door bell is broken; the phone number indicated in the window connected to a number in Quebec City; I sent an email and a text message with no answer and then banged on the door before someone came to check me in. The hot tub was closed. The picture quality on the tv was poor. There was no tea provided in the room. I was woken up my multiple slamming doors shortly after 7:00am. It is unsafe to have the hotel name and room number on the room keys, especially since the key return box has no lock.

Availability of a refrigerator and a microwave

We booked the room online, and it was stated that a hot tub and a sauna were available. However, after completing the reservation, we received a message saying that both the hot tub and sauna are closed from April to October this year. This significantly affected our experience. We were traveling with small children, and given the cold climate, we were really looking forward to swimming and spending time in the sauna. It was very disappointing that this information was not clearly indicated on the website and that these amenities were still listed and advertised at the hotel. Overall, we felt disappointed. Although the hotel was one of the more affordable options and, for the price, everything else was acceptable, I would have preferred to pay more for another place if I had known in advance that the sauna and hot tub would not be available.
