self catering. Fridge and jug in the room. Just outside of town so had to drive to amenities, but that was ok, it was a lovely peaceful location. Friendly, helpful staff. Good value for money, secure, nice and clean, had everything we needed for a restful base. Communal kitchen facilities which were nice and clean. Good location as a base for sightseeing around the Coromandel. I would stay here again.

Shower was not really big enough for my 6 foot 4 husband. Property is quite dated, although clean and comfy, but that is reflected in the price, so I was happy with the booking. I am happy with simple amenities that are clean and have everything you need. Car parking was a bit tight for our ute. A bigger turning area is needed, or one way in and another gate to get out. No complaints overall, very good value stay.

"Lovely atmosphere and comfort when away from home."

The room was spacious and the beds comfortable. Was great to have aircon in the middle of summer. It was a lovely touch that we got a back deck to enjoy morning coffee on. The TV also swivelled off the wall so we could watch something late at night in bed. It was also convenient that everything was a 3-5minute drive. The owner was friendly and welcoming to top it all off. I would come back and stay again.

Would have been nice for the shower to be more updated with a removable shower head. The floor was a bit hard even with carpet. Having the fridge on before arrival would have been a good touch so our food could keep cold.
