Being renovated at the moment

The staff when we arrived was very helpful. The hotel was clean and very nice

I understand we were only staying for 1 night but we had booked a "family room" and we had booked for 3 adults and a child (7) We expected a double bed and a double sofa bed for all of us to sleep comfortably. Unfortunately we had a small double bed and a single sofa bed. This meant my mum had the sofa bed and myself, my husband and our son were squashed into the bed. I ended up moving and sleeping on the floor as there was no room. I do feel like if you ask how many adults and children will be staying with you that the booking should be suitable for that amount of people.

Proximity to NEC, staff and room was great

At the time it was being renovated so all the construction workers were being given breakfast and cleaned it out before many of the paying guests got a chance!

Had to wait 3 hours to check in,no soap or shower gel in the room,no tea,coffee etc in the room and two pots of out of date uht milk.Receptionist was crying at reception and was saying she couldn’t cope and there was no manager on site.Total shambles.Breakfast cold and nothing restocked and no coffee or milk.

Location and rooms were great

Breakfast was not well maintained

Smart and clean and the family room was spacious.

The tele signal kept playing up and switching off

They cancelled my reservation and moved me to an inferior hotel, without offer me a partial refund. Booking.com was not helpful or tried to solve the issue. The hotel they put me was lower quality and cheaper.
